Explorer South conversion vans allow you to select from several extended version for those with the largest families or those with the most friends. Our standard size vans seat 7 passengers, but certain models allow for comfortably seating 9 passengers.

Ford Transit Seats Up to 9 Passengers
The 7 and 9 Passenger Ford Transit by Explorer South comes with a powerful 3.5L Ecoboost engine and quiet ride. Whether you are a Ford blueblood or just want to try something new, the Ford Transit by Explorer will exceed your expectations.
The 9 passenger van is built on a 150 Chassis with a 148″ wheelbase – just 18″ longer than the 7 passenger van. Legroom, headroom and storage space abounds in the luxurious interior, well designed doors and windows. The state of the art SYNC system will keep the driver entertained while the passengers enjoy the 17″ or 29″ HDTV.
The short front end and tight turning radius make it incredibly easy to drive for a larger vehicle and you’ll find the 9 Passenger seating comfortable for kids and adults alike. Don’t need seating for 9 but would prefer to maximize your interior legroom and storage space? The Extended wheelbase chassis is perfect for whatever needs you may have.
The Extended 9 Passenger Ford Transit by Explorer is available as a Low Top (for those who need under 7′ of clearance), or with our custom Sport Roof (for those who need to be under 8′ of clearance). If clearance is not an issue and you want the maximum amount of headroom just inquire about our conversion on the Ford Factory “Medium Roof” Transit.

Use your Sprinter around town or take it on vacation. Either way, the 144″ Wheelbase makes the Sprinter a responsive drive and an exciting option.
